The Oxford Union is very near CMRS, and from its earliest days has maintained for its members a general lending library chosen by students for students. The Union Library thus now contains a valuable collection for the study of subjects such as English literature, history, politics, philosophy and theology. Membership of the Society is by subscription which is not included in CMRS fees.  Membership also affords access to the the world's finest debating society, as well as the excellent library.
