How do I apply?
Applicants may apply for one or two semesters. CMRS follows a rolling admissions policy, accepting suitably qualified candidates as they apply until all available spaces are filled.
In order to be considered for admission, candidates should have a Grade Point Average of at least 3.50 on a 4.00 point scale. In considering each applicant, the Admissions Committee looks first at the transcript(s) but attaches the greatest importance to faculty recommendations, whereby the GPA requirement may on occasion be reconsidered.
To be considered by the Admissions Committee an application must include:
- A completed Application Form - this will need to be countersigned by the authorities at your college or university.
- An essay of no more than 250 words; see p. 3 of the Application Form
- 3 completed Faculty Reference Forms
- An Official Transcript from your home university or college.
In making an application to CMRS you should liaise closely with your Study Abroad or International Education Office to ensure that you fulfill all your home institution’s requirements.
